Chicken Manchurian

Chicken Manchurian Chicken Manchurian - You will fall in love with this recipe of chicken manchurain. Chef Zakir has made it with juicy pineapples and peppery capsicum, with a delicious flavorful gravy.

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken 500 gm
  • For Marination:
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Egg (whisked) 1
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Flour 1 tbsp
  • For Gravy:
  • Chopped garlic 4 cloves
  • Ketchup 4 tbsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 3 tbsp
  • Capsicum 1
  • Spring onion 1
  • Lemon half
  • Pineapple slices 4
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • Worcester sauce 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Water 1 glass

  • Cooking Directions

    1. Mix the chicken with black pepper, garlic, white pepper, salt, egg, flour and 1 tbsp oil.
    2. Leave it to marinate for approximately half an hour.
    3. Deep fry the marinated chicken and keep aside.
    4. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and sauté chopped garlic in it.
    5. Add capsicum, spring onion and sauté.
    6. Then add pineapple chunks and fry for 2 minutes.
    7. Add fried chicken, ketchup, chili garlic sauce, salt, black and white pepper, mix well.
    8. Add a glass of water and cook for 3 minutes.
    9. Add Worcester sauce and let it simmer gently.
    10. Dissolve corn flour in little water and add to the gravy while stirring.
    11. Let it simmer gently till gravy thickens.
    12. Just before serving add a few drops of lemon juice and serve with egg fried rice.
