Chicken Choice

Chicken Choice is a well-reputed and so delicious Bangladeshi and the whole world around dish as a main course with average effort for homemade on Eid, Party and Weddings with good meaty and spicy taste. Always great to have in all seasons.


Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 kg (2 lb)
  • Ginger 2 tsp (shredded)
  • Garlic 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Turmeric 1 tsp (ground)
  • Cumin 1 tsp (ground)
  • Red chilies 4 (dry whole)
  • Onion 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cinnamon sticks 2 (2.5 cm piece)
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Cooking oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

  • Cooking Directions

    1. Cut the chicken into 10 pieces.
    2. Place all ingredients in saucepan.
    3. Mix well, cover and cook over a low heat for about one hour till meat is tender or put the covered pan in the oven at 180◦C (350◦F) for 1 hour.
    4. Then bake uncovered until oil separates out.
    5. Serve with chapatti, luchi, parata, plain pullao or fluffy boiled rice.
