Chicken Choice is a well-reputed and so delicious Bangladeshi and the whole world around dish as a main course with average effort for homemade on Eid, Party and Weddings with good meaty and spicy taste. Always great to have in all seasons.
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg (2 lb)
- Ginger 2 tsp (shredded)
- Garlic 1 tsp (crushed)
- Turmeric 1 tsp (ground)
- Cumin 1 tsp (ground)
- Red chilies 4 (dry whole)
- Onion 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
- Bay leaf 1
- Cinnamon sticks 2 (2.5 cm piece)
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Cooking oil 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
- Cut the chicken into 10 pieces.
- Place all ingredients in saucepan.
- Mix well, cover and cook over a low heat for about one hour till meat is tender or put the covered pan in the oven at 180◦C (350◦F) for 1 hour.
- Then bake uncovered until oil separates out.
- Serve with chapatti, luchi, parata, plain pullao or fluffy boiled rice.
